Creative Lads — Crosshair
A parametric crosshair system designed for FiveM. No pre-rendered images, no clutter — every reticle is drawn live on a canvas from a small set of numeric parameters. Players tweak any value in the in-game editor, and the overlay redraws instantly.
Built for servers that take precision seriously: from competitive shootouts to immersive RP, every player gets a crosshair that fits their exact aim style.
What It Does
Creative Lads Crosshair replaces the static GTA reticle with a fully customizable overlay that responds to player input in real time. Twenty distinct shape styles, twenty-four shipping presets, and per-player saved customs — all rendered on a single HTML5 canvas with no rebuild required.
The editor is opened with a chat command or a rebindable keybind, exposes every shape parameter through clean form controls, and persists each player's choice through FiveM KVP.
Core Features
- 20 shape styles — cross, dot, T-shape, plus, circle, bullseye, diamond, square, hexagon, triangle, brackets, parens, X, chevron, arrow, equals, hash, vertical/horizontal bars, multidot
- 24 built-in presets ready to use out of the box
- Per-player saved customs (configurable cap, default 20)
- Smart visibility — show while aiming, while a weapon is equipped, or always
- Auto-hides in vehicles, on death, and in the pause menu
- Outline + center dot options to keep the reticle readable on any background
- Rebindable keybind, configurable chat command
- Themable UI — every color exposed through

Framework-agnostic. Works on ESX, QBCore, QBox, and Standalone with zero code edits via community_bridge auto-detection. No SQL, no npm install, no rebuild — drop the resource into your server and ensure it.
- Lightweight client loop (5 Hz / 20 Hz polling depending on state)
- Sanitised preset payloads with clamped numeric ranges
- No external dependencies beyond
community_bridgeandox_lib - Open config file, ready-to-use UI bundle
Why Creative Lads Crosshair
Because a crosshair shouldn't be a dropdown of ten PNGs labelled "Style 1" through "Style 10." It should be a tool. One that adapts to the player, not the other way around.
Every parameter on screen maps to a real visual change. Every preset has a purpose. Every line of code is written to be maintained, not abandoned.
